Senior dual threat quarterback James Bankston had another big day as host Andrew Hill defeated Yerba Buena, 28-9, Thursday night in a BVAL-West Valley Division game.
Bankston completed 6 of 10 passes for 102 yards and a touchdown and ran for 174 yards and a score on 20 carries to lift the Falcons (7-2, 4-2 BVAL-WV) to their fourth straight victory. Junior Rick Quinonez added 105 yards rushing and two touchdowns while senior Eli Gonzalez caught three passes for 50 yards and a score.
Andrew Hill wraps up the season Friday night at home against Overfelt (6-3, 5-1) while Yerba Buena (1-8, 1-5) does the same Friday night at home against James Lick (0-9, 0-6).
