Senior Aman Abdella led Kennedy-Fremont with 16 points, as the Titans overcame an 11-point halftime deficit to beat host Livermore, 57-55 in Saturday's non-league action.
Despite the slow start, Kennedy (2-0) ended up four players scoring in double figures, led by Abdella, who shot 7-of-11 from the field. Junior Josh Deato helped lead the comeback as well, drilling three of his four attempts from beyond the arc to finish with 13 points.
Livermore (0-1) led 19-9 after one quarter, and extended the lead to 11 points at halftime, but Kennedy went on a 22-10 run in the third quarter to take a one-point lead heading into the final eight minutes. Sophomore Josh Libiran added 12 points for the Titans, while senior Dalton Bowling added 11 points and 10 rebounds.
Senior Jabari Sanders had just two points for Kennedy, but chipped into the overall team effort with eight assists and six steals.
Kennedy looks to extend its unbeaten start on Wednesday night, hosting Richmond, while Livermore hosts Tennyson on Tuesday night.
