The first place Menlo-Atherton Bears traveled to the Aragon Dons in a Wednesday night PAL match up and used a balanced scoring attack to win 73-53. The Bears raced to a 20-9 first quarter lead as Christian Fioretti had 5 points and Lucas Fioretti and Eric Norton each had 4 points. M-A increased the lead to 38-15 paced by Lucas Fioretti’s 5 second quarter points. The Dons scored 23 4th quarter points on 7 3’s but never got closer than 20 points and the Bears ended up winning by 20.
Blake Henry led the Bears with 12 points and 6 boards. Lucas Fioretti and Christian Fioretti each had 11 points, with Lucas Fioretti adding 4 steals. Eric Norton and Reed Fratt each had 8 points, with Norton chipping in 5 boards. For the Dons, Kimon Economou had 11 points, Joe Park had 9 points on 3 3’s and Kenny Corcoran added 6.
M-A moves to 7-0 in the PAL and 16-2 overall while Aragon drops to 2-5 in league and 6-13 overall.
