Senior Aaron Burriesci allowed just three hits over six innings to lead Willow Glen to a 9-1 win over visiting Branham Wednesday afternoon in BVAL-Mount Hamilton Division baseball action.
Burriesci struck out two and walked none and senior Matt Miller led a 14-hit attack with three hits and two RBIs for the first-place Rams (15-3, 6-1 BVAL-MH). Senior Connor Seaone scored the lone run for the Bruins (7-10-1, 2-5) in the third inning when he singled, stole second and was brought home by junior Troy Richards.
Senior Sal Munoz homered and was among four Rams with a pair of hits apiece including senior Davis Miller and juniors A.J. Santamaria and Isaac Munoz. The two teams meet again Friday at Branham with first pitch scheduled for 4 pm.
