Rivas scored once in each half, with her second-half tally proving to be the game-winner, which supported a strong night in goal from senior captain Josephine Gonsalves, who recorded five saves in the victory.
Moreau Catholic improved to 3-9-1 overall with the win, 3-5 in league play, and will host Newark Memorial on Tuesday, Jan. 28. Kennedy fell to 0-7-2, 0-5-1, and will look for its first win next Thursday when the Titans face Washington-Fremont.
