In its last match before the National Invitational in Southern California, the Menlo boys tennis team defeated Harker 7-0 at home Tuesday.
The Knights (7-0 West Bay Athletic League, 10-1 overall) open play against Iolani of Honolulu in Friday's opener of the prestigious 16-team invitational at Palisades Tennis Club. The tournament features some of the nation's best including teams from Massachusetts, Oregon, Connecticut and Texas.
