Menlo School girls soccer played to a 1-1 tie with visiting Urban School in a non-league match-up at home Wednesday.
The Blues (0-0-1) got on the board first on a goal by Julietta Seirmarco in the 13th minute. Menlo's Electa Narasin fed Cameron Boom with the shot just missing with 4:14 left in the half, but the two connected again when Boom converted on a Narasin pass with just under a minute left before halftime.
Menlo (0-1-1) next plays Mountain View in the Fremont Tournament at 4:45 p.m. Saturday.
