WCAL and CCS Open boys soccer champion St. Ignatius was honored with three first-team all WCAL selections - David Woodruff, Alex Bailey and Nathan Kushner. Woodruff was also selected as WCAL Forward of the Year, while Kushner was also selected as WCAL Goalkeeper of the Year.
CCS Division I champion Bellarmine was recognized with two first-team selections, highlighted by WCAL Defender of the Year Cole Hackett. Archbishop Mitty, which up until their CCS Open quarterfinal loss to Burlingame had not lost a game all season, finishing one point behind St. Ignatius, had three selections on the first team. Jota Yamaguchi, a four-year starter for the Monarchs, highlighted his second season on the first team, and his remarkable high school career, by being selected as WCAL Midfielder of the Year.
Last year's Midfielder of the Year, Adam Joss from Serra, was a repeat selection on the first team. In what might be a first for the league, all of the first team selections were seniors. Some highlights for the future though include Bellarmine freshman Paxton Hall, who was selected as a Honorable Mention. Despite finishing in seventh place, Valley Christian had sophomore Zach Addison selected to second team.
