Bishop O'Dowd senior Austin Jones and San Leandro senior Jordan Cobbs took home top honors as the West Alameda County Conference's Foothill Division released its all-league awards for the 2018 football season.

Jones, a Stanford commit, has averaged over 10 yards per carry, running for 1,530 yards and 18 touchdowns through the Dragons' first-round playoff win over Hayward. He has added 22 catches for 316 yards, and was an easy selection for the WACC-Foothill Offensive Player of the Year award.

Meanwhile, Cobbs was named Defensive Player of the Year while spearheading the San Leandro defense from his linebacker position. After the Pirates' first-round playoff win over Dougherty Valley, Cobbs had racked up 94 tackles, including 10 tackles for a loss, and a pair of sacks. He had 14 tackles in last week's playoff victory. He has also been a primary offensive threat at tight end, with 30 catches for 653 yards and five touchdowns.
