Stubblefield headed to Riverside, Wojcik conducting visits

April 25, 2018

Bellarmine head basketball coach Patrick Schneider confirmed that Kendall Stubblefield committed to UC Riverside. Stubblefield will walk on as a freshman, but will have a scholarship in the following years.

The 6-foot-6 Stubblefield averaged 15 points per game for the back-to-back WCAL champions and 2018 CCS Open Division champions.

Jake Wojcik, who had previously committed to Siena but reopened his recruitment after the resignation of head coach Jimmy Patsos, has visited San Francisco and Holy Cross. He will also visit Drexel and Richmond while touring the East Coast.

USF may have the upper hand, as Wojcik's AAU teammate Dylan Belquist (Los Gatos) is committed to head to the Hilltop. Kyle Smith's program had a scholarship open up last week when Oakland Tech alum Souley Boum announced his intent to transfer following his freshman season.
