The East Bay Athletic League released its all-league teams for spring sports, with four-year standout Danielle Williams of Amador Valley earning softball's highest honor. League champion Foothill, meanwhile, placed four players on the first-team.
Williams was named MVP and led the Dons to their second NCS title during her four-year career, as she shut out Foothill in the NCS title game and did not allow a run during the post-season. Her playoff run included a 20-strikeout no-hitter in Amador Valley's opening round win over Mt. Eden, along with wins over Castro Valley, Freedom, and Foothill.
