National Preps Collegiate Showcase comes to San Diego

January 31, 2021

The National Preps Collegiate Showcase events covered by Prep2Prep and our Prep2Prep Foundation student reporters in Fresno and Vacaville were such a big hit with readers we decided to make the trek to San Diego for the latest showcase on Sunday, January 31 at Town Center Community Park in the East County San Diego suburb of Santee.

The format for this showcase will be the same as the previous National Preps events and will consist of non-contact drills with safety protocols in place to protect, players, coaches, analysts, scouts and media allowed on the field.

Approximately 400 players with hopes of making a big enough impression on the National Preps coaches and assembled analysts and scouts to garner a college scholarship will be taking part in the San Diego showcase.

The following is an alphabetical list of participants (California players only) deemed potential top prospects at the camp, but that doesn’t mean a player not on this list may in actuality be one of the top performers after all is said and done.

Of the 47 players on this list Long Beach Poly has the most players with five followed by Mater Dei with four.
