Archbishop Riordan dominated CCS from start to finish, falling just short of a CIF Open state title. Meanwhile, huge postseason runs by WBAL teams The King's Academy and Priory move those teams up in the final Prep2Prep CCS boys basketball rankings.

Riordan's magical season ended just short of a CIF state title, as the Crusaders lost to SoCal power Roosevelt in the title game. But Riordan finished 29-2 and no CCS team came close to knocking off the Crusaders.

SI won all three of its CCS Open Division group games before losing to Riordan in the championship game. The Wildcats then beat Dublin and Buchanan before losing to Lincoln-Stockton in the NorCal Division 1 semis.

Milpitas went an impressive 2-1 in CCS Open pool play, defeating WCAL powers Bellarmine and Serra along the way. The Trojans then defeated Woodcreek to advance to the second round of the NorCal Division 2 playoffs, where they lost to Clovis East.

Valley Christian went 1-2 in CCS Open pool play and then lost to Oakland in the first round of the NorCal Division 2 playoffs.

Serra finished just 6-8 in the WCAL, but completed a three-game sweep against 8-6 Bellarmine with a win in CCS Open pool play. The Padres lost to Clayton Valley Charter in the first round of the NorCal Division 2 playoffs.

Bellarmine finished tied for third in the WCAL, but dropped all four of its postseason games, going 0-3 in CCS Open pool play and losing to Jesuit in the first round of the NorCal Division 2 playoffs.

The King's Academy beat Scotts Valley, Sacred Heart Prep and Carmel to capture the CCS Division 4 title. The Knights then rolled to four more wins to capture the NorCal Division 3 title before losing 52-51 to San Gabriel in the state championship game.

Menlo-Atherton finished 1-2 in CCS Open pool play and then lost to Destiny Christian Academy in the first round of the NorCal Division 2 playoffs.

Mitty went 1-2 in CCS Open pool play and beat Branson in the first round of the NorCal Division 2 playoffs before falling to Jesuit.

Christopher defeated Monta Vista, Willow Glen and Westmont to win the CCS Division 2 title. The Cougars lost to Enterprise in the first round of the NorCal Division 3 playoffs.

Carlmont defeated Palo Alto for the CCS Division 1 championship. The Scots then reached the NorCal Division 3 semifinals where they lost to The King's Academy.

Palo Alto lost to Carlmont in the CCS Division 1 final, but then advanced to the NorCal Division 3 title game with wins over Foothill, Enterprise and Christian Brothers before losing to The King's Academy in the final.

Carmel was edged by The King's Academy 66-63 in the CCS Division 4 championship. The Padres advanced a round in the NorCal Division 3 playoffs with a win over Central-Fresno before losing to Christian Brothers.

Monterey's season ended in the CCS Division 3 quarterfinals with a loss to Burlingame.

Los Gatos's season ended in a loss to Homestead in the CCS Division 2 quarterfinals.

Westmont advanced to the CCS Division 2 championship game, losing by one point to league rival Christopher. The Warriors were knocked off by Lincoln-San Francisco in the first round of the NorCal Division 4 playoffs.

Sacred Heart Prep lost to The King's Academy in the CCS Division 4 semifinals. The Gators were then knocked out by Christian Brothers in the first round of the NorCal Division 3 playoffs.

Priory rolled through the CCS Division 5 and CIF Division 4 playoffs, capping an 8-0 postseason run with an 83-66 win over Fresno Christian in the state championship.

Palma reached the CCS Division 5 finals with wins over Crystal Springs Uplands and Summit Shasta, losing to Woodside Priory in the championship. Palma then beat San Mateo before losing to Berkeley in the second round of the NorCal Division 4 playoffs.

After finishing 10-0 and winning the SCCAL postseason tournament, Aptos was upset by league rival Santa Cruz in the CCS Division 3 final. Aptos then advanced to the second round of the NorCal Division 3 playoffs, losing to The King's Academy.

Half Moon Bay lost to Carmel in the CCS Division 4 semifinals and then fell to University in the first round of the NorCal Division 3 playoffs.

Santa Cruz had a terrific postseason, winning the CCS Division 2 title with a victory over previously undefeated SCCAL rival Aptos. The Cardinals then got all the way to the NorCal Division 4 finals, losing to eventual state champ Woodside Priory.

Leigh beat Sequoia and Mountain View to reach the CCS Division 1 semifinals, where the Longhorns lost to Palo Alto.

Homestead upset Los Gatos to reach the CCS Division 1 semifinals, where the Mustangs lost to eventual champ Carlmont.

Alisal's season ended with an upset loss to Evergreen Valley in the first round of the CCS Division 1 playoffs.
