Pittsburg knocked off San Ramon Valley in the NCS Division 1 championship to earn the No. 2 ranking and St. Vincent de Paul continued to move up after capturing the NCS Division 5 title.

De La Salle needed a fourth-quarter TD run from Dominic Kelley to edge Pittsburg 10-7 for the NCS Open Division championship. De La Salle will take on SoCal power Mater Dei for the state title Dec. 14 at Saddleback College.
Senior QB Marley Alcantara starred yet again, leading Pittsburg to a 35-28 win over San Ramon Valley for the NCS Division 1 championship. Alcantara completed 26-of-38 passes for 381 yards and 4 TDs to lead the Pirates, who will host Folsom Friday night for the NorCal 1-AA title.
