BETWEEN THE LINES

"Between the Lines" details the preparation of the Serra High School football team as it looks to defend its Central Coast Section Open Division championship. Serra, located in San Mateo, Calif. and coached by legendary De La Salle product Patrick Walsh, has long been one of the most successful football programs in the Bay Area. Under Walsh, the Padres have won four West Catholic Athletic League titles and have captured CCS championships in two of the past three seasons. Notable alumni of the football program include NFL Hall of Famer Lynn Swann and future Hall of Famer, current New England Patriots star Tom Brady and second-year Green Bay Packers offensive tackle David Bakhtiari.
