Mitty's Open state title hopes fell short but the Monarchs were once again the dominant team in CCS, winning all 16 games against section opponents by a comfortable margin. WBAL-Foothill foes Pinewood and Priory had strong postseasons to finish in the top 5 while WBAL-Skyline rivals Harker and Castilleja each rode playoff runs to finish in the top 20.

Mitty went 16-0 against CCS competition and edged Pinewood 59-51 for the CCS Open Division title. The Monarchs advanced to the state open championship game with a win over Clovis West, but fell short in the final, losing 75-59 to Etiwanda.

Pinewood won all three of its CCS Open pool play games, defeating Sacred Heart Cathedral, Saint Francis and Priory before losing to Mitty in the Open final. The Panthers then lost in the first round of the NorCal Open playoffs to San Ramon Valley.

Riordan went 2-1 in CCS Open pool play, defeating St. Ignatius and Valley Christian and losing to Mitty. The Crusaders then lost to Bishop O'Dowd in the first round of the NorCal Division 1 playoffs.

Priory defeated WCAL teams Saint Francis and Sacred Heart Cathedral in CCS Open pool play before losing to WBAL rival Pinewood. The Panthers then advance to the second round of the NorCal Division 1 playoffs with a win over Central-Fresno before losing to St. Mary's-Stockton.

St. Ignatius went 1-2 in CCS Open pool play, all against WCAL competition. The Wildcats then lost to Cardinal Newman in the first round of the NorCal Division 1 playoffs.

Saint Francis went 1-2 in CCS Open pool play, salvaging a win over Sacred Heart Cathedral in the final game. The Lancers lost to Carondelet in the first round of the NorCal Division 1 playoffs.

Sacred Heart Cathedral dropped all three of its CCS Open pool play games. The Irish beat Christian Brothers in the first round of the NorCal Division 2 playoffs before losing 66-64 at Caruthers.

Valley Christian was no match for WCAL rivals Mitty, Riordan and St. Ignatius in CCS Open pool play. The Warriors then lost to Atwater in the first round of the NorCal Division 2 playoffs.

Los Gatos rolled past Branham, Salinas and Menlo-Atherton to capture the CCS Division 1 title. The Wildcats lost to California in the first round of the NorCal Division 2 playoffs.

As the No. 5 seed, Prospect beat Lincoln, Monta Vista, Westmont and Christopher to take the CCS Division 2 championship. The Panthers lost to Marysville in the first round of the NorCal Division 4 playoffs.

After beating Willow Glen and Lynbrook, Christopher was knocked off by BVAL-MH rival Prospect in the CCS Division 2 title game. The Cougars were then knocked off by Marin Catholic in the first round of the NorCal Division 3 playoffs.

Top-seeded Menlo won the CCS Division 4 title with victories over Pacific Grove, Notre Dame-Belmont and Harker. The Knights beat St. Bernard's in the NorCal Division 3 playoffs before losing to Marin Catholic.

Harker reached the CCS Division 4 championship game with wins over Sacred Heart Prep and Half Moon Bay. The Eagles lost to Menlo in the final and then fell to Shasta in the first round of the NorCal Division 3 playoffs.

Menlo-Atherton defeated Hollister and Evergreen Valley in the CCS Division 1 playoffs before losing to Los Gatos in the final. The Bears then defeated Ponderosa in the first round of the NorCal Division 3 playoffs before losing to Justin-Siena.

Half Moon Bay defeated The King's Academy to reach the CCS Division 4 semifinals before losing to Harker. The Cougars then made a run in the NorCal Division 4 playoffs, beating St. Patrick's-St. Vincent, West Campus and Rio Lindo and Lowell to reach the state final, where they lost 48-40 to Whitney.

Evergreen Valley lost to Menlo-Atherton in the CCS Division 1 semifinals. The Cougars were knocked out of the NorCal Division 3 playoffs by Justin-Siena.

Castilleja won the CCS Division 5 title with victories over Pacific Collegiate, Palma and Summit Shasta. The Gators reached the NorCal Division 4 semifinals where they lost 39-33 to Lowell.
