JUNCTION CITY, KS - As the Blue Valley Northwest soccer team took the field earlier today to play one last game, the team was aware it was treading on unfamiliar territory. The program has made the playoffs for the past three years and ended up losing in the semifinals each time for three consecutive years. However, this pressing fact did not tangle with the team’s vibe as it went on to dominate Manhattan High School Saturday afternoon for a 2-0 victory to claim the state championship title.
