Emily McAdams fired a no-hitter on Thursday, leading Sequoia to the 13-0 win over Castilleja.
McAdams struck out 10 batters and walked just two in a dominating performance, while the Sequoia lineup staked her to an 11-run lead after just two innings.
Mackenzie Clark's double with one out in the top of the first started the scoring for the Cherokee, and Katea Feilokitau added to the lead one batter later with a run-scoring single. Grace Weber and Kiley Lubeck also each drove in runs during a four-run first inning.
McAdams helped her own cause with an RBI double early in the top of the second, but the big blow in the inning was Makena Roberts' two-run triple which created a 10-run lead at the time.
Lubeck had a team-high three RBI in the win, while Clark, Danielle Amaya, and Sophia Cipriani each joined Lubeck with two hits apiece to pace the attack.
