Junior Shaelan Murison scored a pair of goals to lead visiting Santa Clara to a 2-0 win over Homestead in an SCVAL-De Anza Division girls soccer match Thursday afternoon. With the victory, the Bruins improved to 7-3-4 overall (4-2-2 SCVAL-DA) while the Mustangs dropped to 6-5-3 (2-3-3).

Murison scored both of her goals in the second half. Freshman Lolli Millian notched an assist for the Bruins, who host Los Gatos Tuesday afternoon (3:30 pm). The Mustangs will look to bolster their playoff hopes Tuesday afternoon (3:30 pm) at Mountain View.
