MVAL All-League Boys Basketball

The Mission Valley Athletic League announced its boys basketball all-league team last week.

Moreau Catholic senior Damari Milstead brought home Most Valuable Player honors, after a banner year for the Mariners. Moreau tied with James Logan for the league title, and Milstead eclipsed the 2,000-point mark for his four-year varsity career.

The Grand Canyon commit - who will join former teammate Oscar Frayer in Arizona next school year - averaged 25 points and five assists per game. In the North Coast Section Division 2 championship game against Tamalpais, Milstead scored 32 points to lead the Mariners to the section title, his third section title in four years of high school basketball.
