The West Alameda County Conference released its all-league teams for girls soccer, with athletes from Bishop O'Dowd and Encinal taking home the top awards from the Foothill and Shoreline divisions, respectively.
Bishop O'Dowd senior Reina Bonta was named Player of the Year after leading the Dragons to a perfect 10-0 record in Foothill action and an appearance in the North Coast Section Division 2 semifinals, where they lost in overtime to eventual champion Livermore.
The Yale-bound Bonta led the team with six goals and 14 assists, finishing her three-year varsity career with 24 goals and 43 assists.
Encinal senior Alia Morris was named Player of the Year for the Shoreline Division, scoring 13 goals for the Jets, who reached the NCS Division 3 playoffs.
