October 20, 2026

Menlo-Atherton came from behind for a 14-7 win over Sacred Heart Prep to improve to 2-0 in the PAL-Bay. It was the second straight win for the Bears, who went 0-5 during a grueling non-league campaign.

Sacred Heart Prep (2-5, 0-2) took a 7-0 first-quarter lead on a three-yard touchdown pass from JP Durrett to Madyn Misra, but the Bears rallied in the second half for two scores. Senior QB Milo Lazare connected on a short pass to Kyle Gabriel, and the junior did the rest, breaking a tackle and racing down the sideline for a 42-yard touchdown. Menlo-Atherton took the lead on a four-yard run from Spencer Ama Jr. early in the fourth quarter.

The Bears join Los Gatos and Wilcox atop the Bay Division. Los Gatos clobbered The King’s Academy 49-12. Senior RB Devonte Troutt ran for 219 yards and four touchdowns on just 12 carries as the Wildcats (6-1, 2-0) built a 28-0 halftime lead and cruised to victory.
