St. Ignatius College Prep grad Sydney Raggio was named Big West Player of the Week after leading St. Mary’s College to consecutive wins last week.
Raggio scored 15 points and took nine rebounds and had five assists as St. Mary’s defeated Cal State Northridge 93-59. She also had 26 points, 10 rebounds and three assists to go along with two steals as St. Mary’s downed San Jose State in Moraga.
The former Wildcat averaged 20.5 points for the week, shot 71 percent from the field (17 of 24), averaged 9.5 rebounds and four assists per game and blocked one shot.
